How often do you feel upset whenever someone cancels your date?

If you’re anything like my former-self, your response will be something along the lines of all the time.

Right? No matter how hard you try to remain optimistic, you can’t help but feel like you’ll never find someone to be with for the rest of your life.

It sucks.

Over the years, I’ve found myself in the same position as you many times. But instead of feeling inadequate, I’ve realized that canceling on someone is often a bigger reflection of their imperfections, instead of yours.

So below are a collection of reasons as to why someone may suddenly cancel on you. Each one of these insights helped me to understand the rationale behind someone’s actions so I could regain my self-esteem, and finally move on with my life. I hope they do the same for you, too.

They’re Seeing Someone Else.

When you’re having incredible conversations until the early hours of the morning, it’s heartbreaking when you discover that your date has no interest in starting a relationship.
