It’s no secret that millions of Americans are looking for new careers.

Amid a looming recession, some want a higher-paying job that will provide them with financial security. Others want to spend more time with their families, so they’re interviewing for jobs requiring fewer office hours.

With all of that in mind, here are several things you should never say during a job interview:

“Can We Make This Quick?”

Like most folks, I have a busy schedule.

If a job interview isn’t going to result in a six-figure paycheck, it’s probably wasting my time. That’s why I cut to the chase and leave if they don’t offer me the position within two minutes.
