Lots of people want to become successful writers. In fact, I receive 33,000 emails per day from people wanting to quit their jobs so they have more time to write.

That’s mistake #1.

Contrary to what other people might say, you don’t need to quit your job to become a successful writer. Instead, you just need to work 25 hours per day until your fingers become a continuous blur on the keyboard. Quoting my idol, Elon Musk:

“You just have to put in 80 to 100 hour weeks every week. This improves the odds of success. If other people are putting in 40-hour work weeks and you’re putting in 100-hour workweeks, then even if you’re doing the same thing, you know that you will achieve in 4 months what it takes them a year to achieve.”

Here are some more conspiracy theories I’d like to debunk:

1) It’s Immoral To Charge $5,000 For An Online Course

If you have doubts about charging $5k for an online course about writing, that’s okay.

Just do what everyone else does and charge $4,999 instead.

2) You Need A Daily Writing Habit…
