As someone who has eaten it, I can vouch that it's deliciously sweet, yummy, and worth every penny.

In the old town, we stopped at a street food stall and got a sweet pastry called a Trdelník. This Czech dessert is popular among tourists and marketed as a “traditional” Czech cake and an “old Boehemian pastry.” Interestingly, however, its origins are instead probably Slovak or Moravian, with the popularity of the dish in Czechia being more recent.
