…ing my mom would be one of the worst things I’d ever go through. They didn’t know about a pandemic. They had no clue what it would be like to not be able to hug your aging parent or worry about their care incessantly when that care was being provided by staff who are overworked, understaffed, overwhelmed, and often working well above their paygrade.
