…years to work. I summoned up compassion for the thief, as well as gratitude for what was not taken. After all, right next to the laptop was the backpack in which I kept my passport, additional credit and ATM cards, and lots of other important information that I was happy not to have lost. The thief could just as easily have grabbed the backpack with the laptop!
