“Matt, how do you write thousands of words every day?”

That’s a question I get asked all the time. And when I tell people how I do it, they’re often lost for words.

Over the past few months, I’ve optimized my writing routine for maximum efficiency. I’ve also finely tuned my brain to work more efficiently — because productivity is the only thing that matters.

Here’s a breakdown of how I write 50,000 words every day:

I Write For Nine Hours Each Morning

Most people call that excessive. But let’s be honest: acting like most people isn’t going to get you incredible results. As the famous saying goes, “to be part of the 1%, you must be prepared to do what the 99% won’t do.”

I go to the living room about 30 seconds after waking up and open my laptop to draft a new article. I love writing because I always feel motivated, inspired, and passionate about forcing my opinions down other people’s throats. It’s beautiful.

Once I start writing, my fingers are a constant blur. They swiftly move from one letter to another while I type on the keyboard. Every single second spent writing…
