How To Make Friends When You’re Stuck At Home

There are over 7.8 billion people in the world. And with the power of the internet, making friends with some of them can be pretty easy. Heck, you don’t even need to leave your home.

This happened to me just a few months ago when I joined several online communities for writers. We often do video calls for a few hours and discuss writing, editing, and many other topics related to creativity. As a result, I’ve met some truly incredible people that I previously didn’t even know existed.

In a world of social distancing and isolation, pretty much everyone wants to meet new people and make more friends. But unfortunately, very few people know how to do it virtually. So if you want to improve your online social life, here are several things that you can do right now.

Find Your Online Tribe.

What do you care about? What do you enjoy? What topics could you talk about for hours? Write down a list of things you love doing and join online communities that match those specific interests.
