I Spoke To A Billionaire About Taxing The Rich. His Response Was Surprising

Most people have zero clue how wealthy people actually think

I recently escaped my comfort zone and talked to a billionaire about implementing a wealth tax to fix the massive problem of wealth inequality. Quoting an article published by The Roosevelt Institute:

“For decades, the rich and powerful have taken advantage of the United States economic system, yielding an extreme concentration of wealth at the very top and producing off-kilter, dysfunctional economic outcomes. Since the 1970s, the top 0.1 percent of US households have dramatically increased their wealth share from 7 to 20 percent, while the bottom 90 percent have seen their wealth share plummet to 25 percent. One of the most effective ways to rectify these economic distortions and inject fairness into the US tax code: a wealth tax.”

I’m frequently described as a social justice warrior during interviews with mainstream news outlets. They say I’m committed to fighting wealth inequality and that my fingers act like sharp swords while battling ignorant people in the comment section of Elon Musk’s tweets.
