I think there needs to be a more nuanced approach. America has hundreds of millions of people. There isn’t going to be a “one size fits all” approach to policing.

I think that’s where a lot of the disagreements stem from. People have differing experiences based on where they live. And so when someone suggests an approach that wouldn’t benefit them, they naturally disagree.

I think for some areas, abolishing may be a more appropriate way forward. But in some, like the big cities, a larger percentage of funds clearly needs to be invested into the community.
