I was actually born in England but spend a lot of time in North America. So, I totally understand where you're coming from and respect your point. Agreed. I was referring largely to London.

But since Medium's audience is largely US/Canada, it makes sense to write for that specific group of people. Hence the US-centric discussion on medical bankrupcy etc.
