Shannon, first of all, I hope you raise the necersary funds. I have also made a contribution. Genuinely, I hope everything works out for you because this is clearly a difficult time.

I get that you're mad at Tim Denning & Tom Kuegler. But at the end of the day, you have the right to choose what charitable causes you support and write about. So do they.

Just because someone doesn't donate or share a public statement of support doesn't mean they're unempathetic or a bad person. If everyone followed that logic, we're all bad people for not donating or sharing every single worthy charitable cause in the world. Breast cancer, poverty in Hati, to name a few.

I guess what I'm saying is that publicly venting your dislike for Tim & Tom's actions (or lack thereof) isn't the most productive way to raise widespread support for your cause amongst self-help writers on the platform. Anyway, I really enjoy your work and hope to see more heartfelt pieces in the future <3
