I Worked At Amazon — Here’s What It’s Really Like

Let me say what Jeff Bezos isn’t telling you…

Working for Amazon was one of the most painful experiences of my life.

I frequently stubbed my toe in the warehouse while walking to lunch. I also wasn’t paid enough money to live a comfortable lifestyle. And since rent and gas are skyrocketing, it was difficult to afford the basic necessities of life on such a low wage.

Anyway, I had to follow some annoying rules while working for Amazon.

Here are several examples:

Don’t Unionize Because It Looks Bad On Jeff

According to The Washington Post, Amazon has called the cops and fired workers in desperate attempts to block unionization:

“Amazon has been accused of illegally firing workers in Chicago, New York, and Ohio, calling the police on workers in Kentucky and New York, and retaliating against workers in New York and Pennsylvania, in what workers say is an escalation of long-running union-busting activities by the company.”

I’ll admit that I wasn’t a fan of this rule. It sucks to get the police involved. They (probably) have better things to do than speak to workers earning minimum wage who just…
