There’s a reason I don’t talk about these often

Working for my idol, Elon Musk, was one of the most surreal experiences of my life (so far).

He sat opposite me for thirteen hours per day. We’d laugh, watch YouTube videos, and play ping-pong together during our downtime. We also pranked other employees by putting remote-control whoopee cushions on their chairs.

As you can imagine, working for Elon Musk was enjoyable. However, I had to follow a few strict rules as an employee.

Here are several examples:

Don’t Leak Company Secrets To The Press

“As an employee and a shareholder, each of us has a responsibility to safeguard all information and technology we use and generate every day,” said Elon Musk in an email leaked to the press. “Tesla will take action against those who improperly leak proprietary business information or violate the non-disclosure obligations to which we all agreed.”

I’ll admit that I wasn’t a fan of this rule. However, I made a conscious effort to follow it like a good little sheep.

Baaaa.
