What you can do: I know you don’t want to hear it, but it all comes down to networking. But, it doesn’t have to be anxiety-inducing events with strangers. Start small. Reply to the last comment you had on your work, or send a quick hello to someone you admire. At the first opportunity, jump from typing to talking. And to really make these relationships thrive, always aim to give more than you take.

There's a noticable difference in the quality of my writing since i started talking to big writers that I look up to. Built some great relationships and became friends with a lot of them. Defenitely worth doing.
