If you’re among the 85 million Americans who eat fast food every day, you’ll know that unhealthy eating is a way of life.

Think about it, what did you eat over the past 24 hours?

You probably woke up late for work, realized that you couldn’t make a healthy breakfast, and therefore decided to grab an Egg McMuffin on the way to work.

Perhaps you got a promotion at your job, and decided to grab a donut during your lunch break because “you deserve it.”

Or maybe you’re exhausted after working tirelessly throughout the day, and can’t be bothered to cook, so you grab a Cheeseburger & Diet Coke for dinner on the way home.

Fast food is now cheaper and more convenient than ever. With the ability to have unlimited amounts of food delivered directly to our front door, it’s no surprise that obesity affects over 93 million Americans across the country.

Which is why now is a perfect time to be honest about my eating habits. Maybe you can relate to my experience, or perhaps not. However, creating a conversation around the reasons behind consuming junk food is much more productive than merely criticizing the people who eat it.

So why do I eat junk food…
