“It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” — Epictetus

When you get rejected, your life grinds to a halt. The pain is utterly indescribable.

You cry yourself to sleep, question if you’re good enough, and begin to degrade your sense of self-worth. Everything seems lost.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

You see, when you choose to detach yourself from the situation, it becomes easy to realize that rejection brings you one step closer to finding somebody who you’ll want to be with for the rest of your life.

Not being afraid of rejection will give you a sense of direction, purpose, and clarity. So if you’re truly ready for your life to change, take some time to answer these questions:

  • What would you do if you weren’t scared of the outcome?
  • How much more successful would you be if you weren’t scared of failure?
  • What would happen if you decided to overcome your fear, and ask out your crush on a date?

Most people will never find out the answers. But if you’re reading this article, you’re not like most people, are you?
